Challenge Series champion Jonathan Allard moved from the the
back of both the C & B Mains to transfer into the main event
and charge from 20th to 5th at Te Marua Wellington Speedway
in New Zealand. Craig Dollanksy won the main event.

09/27/2008 Shawn Rice is reporting that he is now scheduled
to drive Mike Newman's USAC sprinter in the sprint division
at Turkey Night in November. Transitioning to the asphalt
will entail upcoming practices at South Sound Speedway,
Rochester, Washington.
News Brief: 09/27/2008 Two former Northwest
locals have strong run at Berlin Raceway, Marne, MI. Dallas
Melby, former WMRA racer takes third, while former WMRA
racer and now fabricator with Bob East Racing, Brian Olson
